A cool guy spent 12 years building a home for his artwork. This persistent artist is Ju Ming.
Located in Jinshan, Juming Museum is far away from the city, and possesses big and open space. You can spend a whole morning, or a whole afternoon to explore this big museum.
Art is everywhere at this museum, even outside the building and along the paths.
This section is full of sculptures of famous scientists, including Einstein, Marie Curie, Sir Isaac Newton, etc. They are scattered around the pond. Amazingly, Ju Ming captured their distinguishing charasteristics so well.
Ju Ming's Taichi Series is one of his famous works, and also earns him a great artist in Asia. It is my favorite series, too. In Taichi Square, the large-size bronze scultures give people a feeling of majesty and energy. You can feel the chi flow while looking at them.
All of his works after Taichi Series are called Living World Series. Those works describe the relationships among people, and even between people and animals.
The following are a couple facing each other (and saying I love you, I guess).
Two mothers stand together. One carries her baby, and the other holds hers.
The shepherd, the goats, and the copycat girl:
Army, navy and air force soldiers are gathered in a big area. As for the men with umbrellas? I have no ideas why they are here. To observe the soldiers?
Ju Ming loves trying news things. He is bold enough to make art with different materials, such as wood, collages, pottery, stone sculpture, and stainless steel, to name just a few.
Paragliders are above the creek.
A series of robots:
The following sulptures fully show Ju Ming's love of nature.
A zipper-shaped pond:
A pond with robots, plants, and stones inside it:
Soldiers! Does it mean they are here to protect us?
It is worth visiting this museum. I love it.
